⏱️ Emergency Hot Water – Time Clock Control

If your heat pump isn’t providing hot water, you can use the immersion heater as a backup via the time clock controller.

⚠️ Please note:

• The immersion is less efficient than your heat pump and will increase running costs.
• Only use this as a temporary backup until your system is repaired.

Step-by-Step – Switching On via Time Clock

1. Locate your time clock controller (it should look like the one in the photo below).

   
   
2. Make sure the main switch for the immersion is ON.
3. Press the “+” button once on the time clock.
4. The word “ON” should now appear at the bottom of the display.

✅ This means the immersion is switched on permanently and will heat your water.

To Switch Off Again

• Press the “-” button once until the screen shows “OFF”.
• The immersion will stop heating.

✅ Summary

• Press “+” once → ON → hot water from immersion.
• Ensure the main immersion switch is ON.
• Use only until your heat pump is working again.
