Sigenergy Wifi settings


1. Confirm Wi-Fi Signal Near the SigenStor

  • On your smartphone, go to Settings → Wi-Fi.
  • Make sure you can see your home Wi-Fi network listed.
  • If your Wi-Fi network doesn’t appear, there may be an issue with your router or modem — you’ll need to resolve that before connecting your inverter.

2. Restart Your Sigenergy Inverter

Restarting the inverter prompts it to broadcast its hotspot so you can connect.

2a. Turn Off the AC Switch

  • This switch is inside the Sigenergy Gateway.
  • It will be labelled “Inverter Supply”.
  • Flip this switch OFF.

2b. Turn Off the DC Switch

  • The DC switch is inside the left-side cover of the inverter.
  • Remove the cover by pulling it upward and away.
  • Inside, locate the labelled DC switch and turn it OFF.

2c. Restart the System

  • Wait a few minutes for the inverter to completely shut down.

    To restart:

    1. Turn the DC switch ON.
    2. Turn the AC/Inverter Supply switch ON.
  • The inverter may take a few minutes to power back up.
  • ✅ Completing this restart will enable the inverter’s hotspot for Wi-Fi setup.

3. Open the mySigen App

  • On your smartphone, open the mySigen app.

4. Open Settings

  • Tap Settings in the bottom-right corner.

5. Open Network Configure

  • Under More Settings, tap Connectivity.
  • Select Network Configure.

6. Scan the QR Code

  • The app will prompt you to scan a QR code.
  • This is located inside the inverter cover, next to the DC switch.

7. Connect to the Device Hotspot

  • When prompted, select “No, I want to connect device hotspot.”
  • Tap Next, then Connect.
  • Your phone will temporarily connect to the inverter’s hotspot.

8. Select Your Home Network

  • Once connected, the app will display available Wi-Fi networks.
  • Find your home Wi-Fi network in the list and select it.

9. Enter Wi-Fi Password

  • Type in your home Wi-Fi password.
  • Tap Join.

10. Confirm Success

  • A ✅ tick will appear next to your Wi-Fi network once the inverter connects.
  • Tap Finished to close the window.
  • Your system should now appear Online in the mySigen app within a few minutes.
